Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded (plus extra for topping)
  • 6 strips cooked bacon chopped
  • 8 oz ziti or rigatoni pasta
  • 1/2 cup milk or cream for creaminess
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp ketchup optional, for a burger-style kick
  • Cooking spray or butter for greasing

Instructions

  • Boil pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with onion and garlic. Season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook until browned.
  • Stir in cooked pasta, beef broth, milk or cream, and 1 cup of cheddar cheese. Mix until creamy and evenly coated.
  • Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish. Top with extra shredded cheddar cheese and chopped cooked bacon.
  • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15–20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

You can swap ziti or rigatoni with any short pasta you have. Add mustard or pickles for an extra cheeseburger twist!
