  • 26 oz frozen hashbrowns thawed
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits 16.3 oz, quartered
  • 1.5 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • salt to taste

Method
 

  1. Step 1: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the sausage until fully cooked. Sprinkle in flour and stir for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk and cook until thickened. Season with black pepper and salt to taste.
  2. Step 2: In a greased 9x13 baking dish, layer the thawed hashbrowns evenly. Pour the sausage gravy over the top.
  3. Step 3: Evenly scatter the quartered biscuit pieces over the gravy, then sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Step 4: Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 30–35 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Step 5: Let the casserole sit for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm!
