Ingredients
  

  • 2 croissants halved
  • 8 oz ribeye or sirloin steak
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp black garlic paste or roasted garlic as substitute
  • 4 oz brie cheese sliced
  • fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Season steak with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a pan and sear steak 3–4 minutes per side or until medium-rare. Let rest, then slice thinly.
  2. Step 2: In the same pan, melt butter and stir in black garlic paste until combined.
  3. Step 3: Lightly toast croissant halves in a pan or toaster oven.
  4. Step 4: Layer brie slices on bottom halves, then add warm steak and drizzle with black garlic butter. Top with croissant lids.
  5. Step 5: Place assembled croissants in a warm oven (350°F / 175°C) for 3–5 minutes until cheese melts.
  6. Step 6: Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
