Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Ground chicken
  • 1 Small Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 Bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 Cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 Cup Chicken broth
  • 1/4 Cup Heavy cream
  • 1 Cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 Brioche or hamburger buns
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions
 

  • Cook Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground chicken and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks, about 5-6 minutes.
  • SautĂ© Veggies: Add chopped onion, bell pepper, and garlic. SautĂ© until the vegetables are soft, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Season & Simmer: Sprinkle in Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well to coat everything. Add chicken broth and simmer for 5 minutes, until the mixture slightly thickens.
  • Add Cream & Cheese: Pour in heavy cream, stirring until smooth. Gradually add shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until melted and creamy.
  • Assemble: Toast buns lightly if desired. Spoon the Cajun chicken mixture generously onto the bottom half of each bun, then top with the other half.
