- Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a skillet, brown ground beef and drain excess fat.
- Step 2: Stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
- Step 3: Mix in cream of mushroom soup and sour cream until well combined.
- Step 4: In a greased 9x13 dish, layer half of the crushed Doritos, half of the beef mixture, and half of the shredded cheese. Repeat layers.
- Step 5: Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and cheese is melted.
- Step 6: Top with diced tomatoes and green chilies before serving.
