- Step 1: Soak chicken pieces in pickle juice for 30 minutes. Drain well.
- Step 2: In one bowl, whisk together the egg and milk. In another, mix flour, powdered sugar, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Step 3: Dip chicken into egg wash, then coat in flour mixture. Repeat for a thicker crust if desired.
- Step 4: Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry nuggets in batches, 3–4 minutes per side, until golden brown and fully cooked.
- Step 5: Drain on paper towels. Serve hot with honey mustard or your favorite dipping sauce.
