Ingredients
  

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1/2 cup dill pickle juice
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • vegetable oil for frying
  • honey mustard sauce for dipping

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Soak chicken pieces in pickle juice for 30 minutes. Drain well.
  2. Step 2: In one bowl, whisk together the egg and milk. In another, mix flour, powdered sugar, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Step 3: Dip chicken into egg wash, then coat in flour mixture. Repeat for a thicker crust if desired.
  4. Step 4: Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry nuggets in batches, 3–4 minutes per side, until golden brown and fully cooked.
  5. Step 5: Drain on paper towels. Serve hot with honey mustard or your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes
