1.5cupscooked chickenchopped; grilled or pan-seared
1cupshredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheesedivided
1/2cupheavy cream or half-and-half
1tbspbutter
1clovegarlicminced
salt and pepperto taste
smoked paprika or taco seasoningoptional, for flavor twist
Instructions
Step 1: In a pan over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute. Stir in cream, season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika or taco seasoning if using. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.
Step 2: Stir in the chopped chicken and half of the shredded cheese. Let it melt into a creamy, cheesy filling.
Step 3: Warm the tortillas slightly, then spoon the creamy chicken mixture down the center. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and wrap tightly.
Step 4: Toast the wraps in a dry skillet for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and the cheese is melty inside.
Step 5: Slice and serve hot with ranch, salsa, or hot sauce.
Notes
To make it spicier, add chopped jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce to the filling. You can also use leftover rotisserie chicken for an even faster meal.
