Ingredients

  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 1.5 cups cooked chicken chopped; grilled or pan-seared
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese divided
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • smoked paprika or taco seasoning optional, for flavor twist

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: In a pan over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute. Stir in cream, season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika or taco seasoning if using. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  • Step 2: Stir in the chopped chicken and half of the shredded cheese. Let it melt into a creamy, cheesy filling.
  • Step 3: Warm the tortillas slightly, then spoon the creamy chicken mixture down the center. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and wrap tightly.
  • Step 4: Toast the wraps in a dry skillet for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and the cheese is melty inside.
  • Step 5: Slice and serve hot with ranch, salsa, or hot sauce.

Notes

To make it spicier, add chopped jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce to the filling. You can also use leftover rotisserie chicken for an even faster meal.
