Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or beef/pork blend
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • chopped parsley for garnish

Method

  1. Step 1: In a bowl, mix all meatball ingredients. Form into small balls.

  3. Step 3: In the same skillet, cook peppers for 4–5 minutes. Add garlic and sauté briefly.
  4. Step 4: Stir in cream, broth, mustard, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Step 5: Return meatballs to skillet. Simmer for 10 minutes until cooked through and sauce is thickened.
