Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lbs chicken breasts or thighs cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
  • fresh parsley chopped, for garnish
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat grill or skillet. Toss chicken pieces with olive oil, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Cook until golden and fully cooked. Set aside.
  2. Step 2: In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute. Slowly whisk in cream, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened.
  3. Step 3: Pour garlic cream sauce into a baking dish. Place grilled chicken bites on top. Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  4. Step 4: Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 10 minutes or broil 2–3 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
