Ingredients
  

  • 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch optional, for thickening
  • 2 tbsp water for slurry
  • chopped parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Step 1: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic, and black pepper.
  2. Step 2: Place chicken thighs skin side up in a slow cooker. Pour sauce over the chicken.
  3. Step 3: Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  4. Step 4 (Optional): Transfer sauce to a saucepan. Stir in cornstarch slurry and simmer until thickened.
  5. Step 5: Serve chicken with thickened sauce and garnish with chopped parsley.
