Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 large round sourdough loaf
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar
  • 4 strips cooked bacon crumbled
  • 1–2 fresh jalapeños sliced
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or chives optional
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Slice the sourdough in a crosshatch pattern, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, mozzarella, cheddar, garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Carefully stuff the cheese mixture into the cuts of the bread. Tuck bacon crumbles and jalapeño slices throughout.
  • Transfer to prepared tray and bake for 20–25 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and bread edges are golden brown.
  • Top with chopped herbs if using. Serve warm and enjoy by pulling apart pieces!

Notes

You can adjust the heat by using more or fewer jalapeños. Try adding a sprinkle of smoked paprika for even more flavor.
