Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz wide rice noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger minced
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp chili garlic sauce adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp cornstarch optional, mixed with 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp water for cornstarch slurry
  • 2 green onions chopped

Equipment

  • Large Skillet or Wok
  • Saucepan
  • Tongs or Spatula

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Cook rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Step 2: Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Step 3: Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet. Sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Step 4: Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, chili garlic sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well. If a thicker sauce is desired, stir in the optional cornstarch slurry.
  5. Step 5: Toss in the cooked rice noodles and stir fry for 2–3 minutes until noodles are heated through and evenly coated.
  6. Step 6: Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.

Notes

For extra heat, add a pinch of crushed red pepper or a drizzle of chili oil. Swap ground beef for ground chicken or turkey if preferred.
