Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1 cup cooked spinach excess moisture squeezed out
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 cup breadcrumbs
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 egg
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 8–10 pieces mozzarella cubes small size
  • olive oil for baking or frying
  • fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Step 1: In a bowl, combine ground meat, spinach, garlic, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Step 2: Scoop a portion of meat mixture, place a mozzarella cube in the center, and form into a ball around it. Repeat until all meatballs are formed.
  3. Step 3: Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 18–20 minutes or pan-fry in olive oil until browned and cooked through.
  4. Step 4: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot, with marinara sauce or on their own.
