- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Step 2: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with chopped onion until cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
- Step 3: Stir in ketchup, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until mixture thickens slightly.
- Step 4: Slice and hollow out the center of each baguette or hoagie roll. Mix melted butter with minced garlic and brush the insides of the bread.
- Step 5: Fill each hollowed loaf generously with the sloppy joe mixture.
- Step 6: Place stuffed loaves on a baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes, until the edges are golden and crispy. Garnish with parsley if desired.
